Slow steamed hydrosols contain ALL of the plant in every tiny drop. All of the water soluble components and the essential oils. Mels plants go directly into the copper still directly from harvest so the living plant is captured.

Use as a face/body/space mist, add to tinctures, flower essences, baths, drinks, skin products shampoos.

The benefits and uses are so many. Essential oils come out of the still firstly, and in large scale processes the plant is heated hard and fast to get these valuable oils which sit on the top of the finished hydrolate.

The rest of the liquid is usually sold as a hydrosol, hydrolate or floral water. There are many floral waters and hydrosols on the market and plenty of them may contain questionable ingredients and are the by product of large scale oil production.

Mels hydrosols are a SLOW process. It takes about 5 hours to extract around a litre of liquid and produces basically a liquid hologram of the plant! True alchemy!

Please bear in mind that this product smells differently and is more subtle than an essential oil. It is far gentler to use, can be drunk and used safely with babies and pets, though I recommend diluting, there is no need to use the neat product on these sensitive souls. Mel uses this blend on my lurcher who has very sensitive skin and allergies, she also mists her face with it regularly. This blend is good in particular for skin issues.
